You should only use the CSV import if the bank details on BankLink are incorrect and do not match the bank account details in Simple Fund 360.
Editing the CSV file in Excel
The CSV file downloaded from BankLink is from the bank's perspective. Before it can be imported into Simple Fund 360, the amounts need to be reversed. Open the file in Excel and multiply the amount column (usually Column D) by -1 as shown below.
Save the file and ensure that it is saved as CSV (Comma Delimited).
It is recommended to "Save As" (File > Save As in Excel) so that you do not overwrite the original copy of the CSV file.
Importing the CSV file into Simple Fund 360
|From the Main Toolbar, go to Connect.|
|Select Feed Management from the list.||
- From the Feed Management screen, select Advanced Options & Reports.
- From the drop-down menu, select the first option - File Import
- From the File Import screen, on the left hand side, ensure MYOB Banklink XML Import is selected.
Drag'n'drop or upload your XML file in the File Location section of the File Import screen.
The transactions contained within the CSV file will display on-screen. Switch the Amount column so that Simple Fund 360 picks up the column with the updated amounts.
Review the Transaction Preview section to check that the correct columns have been selected.
- Select Import.
- Once the CSV file has been imported into Simple Fund 360, you will be directed to the Transaction Matching screen to reconcile any unmatched transactions from the CSV import.
