The fund is 100% pension for the full 2016/2017 financial year. However, the assets are showing under the Proportionate Method in the Cost Base Reset screen.
How do I change this to the Segregated Method?
Solution
You will need to create a policy with an Actuarial Percentage of 100% in Fund Pension Policies for the 2016/2017 financial year.
From the Cost Base Reset screen, click on the link Click to Add Actuarial % under Actuarial Percentage.
A new tab will open with the Fund Pension Policies page. Select + New Actuarial Certificate.
Add a policy for the 2016/17 year with 100% as the Actuarial Percentage.
Click Save to create the policy.
Refresh the Cost Base Reset page. The assets should now show under the Segregated Method.
