How do I record Contribution Reserves when entering opening balances?
Solution
The Contribution Reserves amount (after tax) for opening balances can be recorded against the 59200 account
However, after recording this, please contact the BGL Support Team and inform them what type of contribution (employer, concessional or non-concessional) and to which member account to allocate the contribution reserve in the current financial year. The Support Team will also need to know the Gross contribution amount and tax for each member.
