There are two methods for changing the reporting period. Firstly, changing the reporting period by changing the reporting date in the Fund Details screen, and secondly by opening and closing the periods in the Period Compliance screen.
Please note, below are instructions for how to change the reporting periods, but it is recommended that you log a support call when changing the reporting period so one of our Support Consultants can assist you through the process in case you need to create/reverse entries.
Changing the reporting date in the fund details screen.
To manually change the reporting period, begin by hovering your cursor over Fund from the Main Toolbar and selecting Fund Details. 
You will be redirected to the Fund details screen. On the right hand side of this screen, under the heading Reporting, you will see the dates for the current financial year you are operating in. 
To adjust these dates, you can either click on the existing dates and adjust accordingly, remembering that the dates follow the DD/MM/YYYY format. 
or click on the calendar and select the date. 
Opening and closing periods in the Period Compliance screen.
Reporting periods are updated when you close and re-open periods in the Period Compliance screen. To access the Period Compliance screen, hover the cursor over Compliance from the Main Toolbar and selecting Period Compliance. 
You will be re-directed to the Period Compliance screen. At the top left hand corner of the screen, in green, you will be able to see what Financial Year you are currently in. 
At the bottom right hand corner of the screen, under the Action column, you will see a Close Period button. Pressing this button will close the reporting period, and move you into the next Financial Year. 
Once this has been pressed, you will be moved to the following Financial Year. In it's place, you will see a Re-Open button. Pressing this button will re-open the previous reporting period, and move you back into the previous Financial Year.
