In some cases, clients may find that Statement of Financial Position can not generate. This article provides a possible solution to it.
The Statement of Financial Statement may fail to generate, if an account name is too long (e.g. bank account, investment account, etc). It may be there are too many characters in the name or there is too much space left in the middle of the name unintentionally.
To update an account name, follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to Accounting from the main toolbar and select Chart of Accounts.
2. Use the top right search bar to search for the account.
3. Click on the account and check its name from the Name field. Remove any unnecessary space and try to shorten the name if it is too long, Once updated, select Save.
This should allow the statement to generate normally. If the issue persists, please contact BGL Support.
